  Huntington Home Blackberry Amber Candle Aldi for $4.99 Amber is the stronger scent note here. The blueberry was fainter in its scent. I would buy more candles in this format though. The shape was different and it filled the living room well for the price. No issues with the wicks or how they burned. Rating 3.5 out of 5 candle lights

                                 Better Homes and Gardens Soft Cashmere and Amber Wax Melts $2.00 Scent Notes: Bergamot, Amber, Citrus, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Peppercorn, Cassis, and Moss What I noticed: Bergamot? Amber, Citrus, Peppercorn   Bergamot is a newer note to me but I think it was there? It was soothing in a floral way. Like if a man brought me flowers and it smelled like this I’d be into it. Amber is becoming a nice alternative from the drenched in sugar or fruit scents I usually go for. Still had a sweet scent but it was warm and soothing. The peppercorn was interesting. Got a grapefruit citrus vibe. To be honest I have no idea what cassis and moss are supposed to smell like. I enjoyed these though. Definitely will look for more things with an amber note.   Rating: 3.5 candlelights

I have heard very good things about the candles at Kohls. It is on my to-do list to check them out in the somewhat near future. Triple Pour Candle Jar Sale: $11.99 Scent Notes: Mango Nectar, Blood Orange, Fresh Lime Juice   Fan of all these as fruit and scents. There are not enough lime-based candles. Key Lime Pie is my favorite pie and I would appreciate the scent in a candle. If you have recommendations, please let your girl know. More pie candles in general. Bath and Body Works Black Cherry Merlot Plug-In Price $7.50 or 5 5/$25 (although I think I got this when it was on super sale like $3) Scent Notes: Dark Cherry, Black Raspberry, Merlot What I noticed: Black Raspberry   I feel like this should be called sweet sangria over merlot. Or communion juice to be honest. Merlot is much drier and pungent to me and this did not deliver that. I do enjoy the scent; I just don’t think this delivered. I also think this particular scent would be better in the bathroom over the bedroom. It’s not the strongest plug-in I’ve had but I like it. I felt like it's not as strong the lower it gets which is annoying. I have this in a hand cream so I’m not giving up on the scent yet.   Rating 2/5

 Walmart Candle Wishlist I have had decent luck with candles at Walmart. The mainstays line can be hit or miss, but the smaller sizes usually perform better.
