Fireside and Fig Candle Review

Image
A cheaper alternative  If you love WoodWick but side-eye the price, this could be a good range. The crackling sound is softer but in a smaller room is a close enough dupe. The fragrance is a medium throw. It smells like figs, apples and maybe vanilla? Not a sugary sweet scent but sweet enough. I would try other scents from this line.  3 out of 5 candlelights

HH Mandarin Lemon Candle Review

Image
HH Mandarin Lemon Candle Review Price Unknown ALDI Such a refreshing and pleasing combo. More mandarin scent but it was a nice change of pace for me. I would like to see more citrus candles. It's a safer scent to gift and it just always brightens the energy of a room. I wish it was stronger but I would possibly buy it again.  3.5 out of 5 candlelights

HH Orange Blossom and Apricot (ALDI) Review

Image
Aldi Candle Review  Almost a strong throw. I would love a more intense version of this. I don't think this should be limited to one season over the other. Citrus scents are an all-year-round scent for me. More apricot notes than orange. A sweet but not sick to your stomach sweet scent. It filled my living room and entrance way. 3.5 out of 5 candlelights

Huntington Home Coconut Cream Macaron Candle Review

Image
Huntington Home Coconut Cream Macaron Candle Review Price unknown ALDI This fragrance was weaker than I was hoping for. I wanted more pungent coconut notes with some cream. Half and half would be a better name for this. The packaging is more cute than functional. Maybe I got a bad batch, however, this candle did not burn well. The wicks were very weak. Don't pay full price for this 2 out of 5 candlelights

Huntington Home “I'm Yours” Candle Review                                                                                 Aldi                                                                             Sale $2.99 There were no scent notes listed but I could detect amber and or tonka bean, cinnamon, and some sort of red berry, maybe a raspberry or boysenberry. I liked this candle though and would think about buying it again if it was released again. I’m not sure why the label started to peel but that wouldn’t stop me from continuing to try these. I really think these are a great value with lo...

Cinnamon Latte Candle Review (ALDI)

Image
Cinnamon Latte On sale for $3 ALDI This one is a slow burner but worth the wait. The cinnamon isn't as sweet as you may assume. It's a bolder smell with notes of coffee.  A lighter roast but I still enjoy it. About a medium throw but it fills the space. A neutral enough option. 3 out of 5 candlelights

BHG Orange and Cinnamon Rolls Review

Image
BHG Orange and  Cinnamon Rolls Review $2.00 on sale at Walmart   A holiday morning smell in wax melts. This is what you imagine every happy holiday household to smell like in the morning. It’s very sweet and warm but the orange compliments the warm notes very well. This is the second time I’ve bought these and I will keep buying them if there isn’t something new to try. I would love for this brand to do more with their pancake batter notes.   5 out of 5 candlelights

TTCT Quick Review- Hunting Home Orange Chocolate Candle

Image
Hunting Home Orange Chocolate Candle Price Unknown The chocolate notes were more semi-sweet than super dry or super sweet. You notice it though. It fills the room decently well. I really wanted more orange scent though. I enjoyed this candle a great bit though. I got this at Aldi so it wasn’t more than six dollars if that. I appreciate that they don’t shy away from chocolate scents. I would buy more for any season. Especially dark chocolate. It can be good for the body so why not the scent for the mind?   4 out of 5 candlelights

TTCT Quick Review-Huntington Home White Almond Wax Melts

Image
Huntington Home White Almond Wax Melts Price unknown at Aldi   If you love almond extract, this is the product for you. That is the only note I could smell strongly. I don’t mind almond extract so this was a nice change-up in my home fragrance routine. If it gets re-released again I’d think about buying it. Aldis melts are usually under $2.  3.5 out of 5 candle lights

TTCT Reviews- Huntington Home Blackberry Amber Candle

Image
Huntington Home Blackberry Amber Candle Aldi for $4.99 Amber is the stronger scent note here. The blueberry was fainter in its scent. I would buy more candles in this format though. The shape was different and it filled the living room well for the price. No issues with the wicks or how they burned. Rating 3.5 out of 5 candle lights
