Yankee Candle Tangerine Vanilla Review

Image
Price Unknown received as a gift I really like the idea of this candle, but it wasn't strong enough for me. I do think the single-wick versions project a lot less scent. I need a candle of this quality to fill the room. I am open to trying this in the melts or maybe as a plug-in. 3.5 out of 5 candle lights

HH Orange Blossom and Apricot (ALDI) Review

Image
Aldi Candle Review  Almost a strong throw. I would love a more intense version of this. I don't think this should be limited to one season over the other. Citrus scents are an all-year-round scent for me. More apricot notes than orange. A sweet but not sick to your stomach sweet scent. It filled my living room and entrance way. 3.5 out of 5 candlelights

Jelly Bean Wax Melt Review

Image
Jelly Bean Wax Melts $2.99 Hobby Lobby                                                    I was gifted this wax (and a few others) over the holiday season. The scent was much more pleasant before putting it in the warmer. The smell is way too strong and artificial. It is hard to notice the different scent notes. It's vaguely fruit-like. My boyfriend turned it off after a half hour. The most overwhelming melt. It gives unknown vague fruity detergent. Not a fan but there is a market for this level of intensity but it's too much for my household.                                                                       2.5 stars out of 5

True Living Essentials Market Citrus Candle Review

Image
True Living Essentials Market Citrus Orange Zest, Nectar, Pear Blossom ~$6 dollar general   This was a medium throw, very pleasant. A low-risk purchase if you enjoy any of these notes. The nectar and zest notes were more prominent notes. No issues with burning or the wicks if you trim the wick every burn. I had this going when the power was out and it was somewhat soothing.   3 out of 5 candlelights

BHG Orange and Cinnamon Rolls Review

Image
BHG Orange and  Cinnamon Rolls Review $2.00 on sale at Walmart   A holiday morning smell in wax melts. This is what you imagine every happy holiday household to smell like in the morning. It’s very sweet and warm but the orange compliments the warm notes very well. This is the second time I’ve bought these and I will keep buying them if there isn’t something new to try. I would love for this brand to do more with their pancake batter notes.   5 out of 5 candlelights

TTCT Quick Review- Hunting Home Orange Chocolate Candle

Image
Hunting Home Orange Chocolate Candle Price Unknown The chocolate notes were more semi-sweet than super dry or super sweet. You notice it though. It fills the room decently well. I really wanted more orange scent though. I enjoyed this candle a great bit though. I got this at Aldi so it wasn’t more than six dollars if that. I appreciate that they don’t shy away from chocolate scents. I would buy more for any season. Especially dark chocolate. It can be good for the body so why not the scent for the mind?   4 out of 5 candlelights

Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Plugin Review

Image
Bath and Body Works Winter Candy Apple Plugin Review $2.50 during the semiannual sale A very strong apple cider scent that I really enjoyed. This could be released in other seasons as well. It was definitely sweet which always adds more to the aromatherapy vibe for me. I would definitely get this again. I preferred this scent in a plug-in form more than the lotions or shower gels. My number two favorite apple-based scent from the company. (#1 is the wicked apple one)    Rating: 3.8 out of 5 candlelights

TTCT Reviews- Better Homes and Gardens Orange Buttercream & Cupcake

Image
Better Homes and Gardens Orange Buttercream & Cupcake $2.00 on sale at Walmart Scent Notes- orange zest, vanilla, buttercream   Heavy on the buttercream! Very similar to marshmallow crispies melt. Extremely strong throw, you can use this in any room and you will notice it. Even if you let it cool and leave the house, you will come back and smell this melt. I really wish this had more citrus to balance the buttercream and vanilla. I have heard that some customers found it to give them a headache. I didn’t have these issues but I prefer the other melt previously mentioned.   4 out of 5 candlelights

TTCT Quick Review- Mainstays Caribbean Orange Wax Melt Review

Image
Mainstays Caribbean Orange Wax Melt Review $1.10 Scent Notes: Orange, Mango, Musk Heavy brunch vibes with this set. Particularly a beach brunch with blood-orange drinks. Medium throw, I enjoyed it while I had It but I also haven’t thought about it since. There are just so many melts to try out there. A cheap low-risk melt. Orange and musk are the more intense notes here   3.5 out of 5 candlelights

Yankee Candle Clearance Picks

Image
Yankee Candle Clearance Picks   Yankee can be a bit pricey, however, I love a deal and will spend time looking. These are my top 3 picks   Freshly Tapped Maple $15.50 Fragrance Notes: Top: Sweet Orange Zest, Whipped Milk, Turbinado Sugar Mid: Bourbon Maple Sugar, Coconut Cream, Sugared Cinnamon Base: Salted Caramel, Vanilla Bean, Sugared Praline   I don’t think I’d be able to notice a difference in the notes of sugar but every single note is something I enjoy. Maple is also not a profile I see often but I would like to try it. Nothing seems super seasonal about it but glad it's on sale. Shop   Twinkling Lights $15.50 Fragrance Notes: Top: Almond, Peach Mid: Milk, Jasmine, Frangipani Base: Fir Balsam, Vanilla   This would be a slight wild card for me because of two of the ingredients I have never heard of and am not sure how to pronounce either. I do enjoy almond, vanilla, and peach so that’s enough for me to take a r...
