TCTT Reviews- Better Homes and Gardens Lavender and White Amber Candle

Image
Better Homes and Gardens Lavender and White Amber Candle $7.99 at Macy’s Backstage   Scent Notes: lavender, jasmine, bergamot, white amber, blonde woods, powdered musk.   Notes I can detect: lavender, jasmine, powdered musk.   This is my first candle from this brand, I’m moderately impressed. I haven’t reached the point that I’m buying repeats of candles but I'm enjoying this one. It is somewhat calming, but I bet I can find it better. Jasmine is kind of like chamomile, I like it though. I would definitely buy a straight-up chamomile or jasmine candle though and would appreciate recommendations. It fills most of the living room up. Probably would be better in a bedroom or bathroom. A simple design but I enjoy the frosted glass look. I like to reuse candle jars. I plan to put hair stuff in this one if possible. No problems with lighting the candle, it burns very evenly.   3 out of 5 candle lights

Target Candle Wishlist Feb 2022

Target is one of my favorite stores of all time. So of course, I buy their candles. These three, in particular, are high on my list to try,   Lidded Glass Jar Candle Lavender Lemonade - Opalhouse™ $10 for 15oz Lavender is actually calming to me. I truly benefit from lavender. It's one of my favorite non-gourmand notes besides chamomile. I want this candle for when I want a different vibe in the apartment besides some sort of baked good. I also enjoy citrus notes so it sounds like an interesting combination. Shop   13oz Valentine's Glass Jar Candle with Lid Almond Shortbread - Threshold™ $10 I don’t think I’ve seen a candle where a nut is a primary scent. I like how almond extract smells so this should be good? I also like scents that are really sweet. I need a break from super seasonal stuff so this sounds great. Shop   Lidded Glass Jar Crackling Wooden Wick Candle Coconut and Honey - Threshold™ $12 I feel like this will be such a cozy vibe. Slightly s

TTCT Reviews-Debi Lilly Grapefruit and Ginger Pillar candle

TTCT Reviews-Debi Lilly Grapefruit and Ginger Pillar candle Price Unknown I received this large candle for Christmas. I have never had a candle without a jar before. I have no idea where this came from but people are selling this brand on Poshmark. Grapefruit usually isn’t a go-to but I really enjoyed the stronger notes of it. Certainly, I will be more open to stronger citrus notes in the future. Usually, I go for that profile for cleaning products but that can change. Didn’t notice much ginger or any other note. Once the candle started to lose its shape, I burned the rest of it in a wax warmer where it performed okay. Once there was less than half of it left, the throw of the candle was much softer. My personal preference for candles is super strong profiles. I want to leave a room and come back and be strongly confronted by a scent or aroma. The burn time was pretty accurate. I’m not sure how I feel about candles not being in a holder already but I don’t regret having them in my

Introduction

Welcome to my candle blog! I already have a food blog (insert link), but decided I wanted a space to talk about candles. Besides the look of them, having scents around that I enjoy greatly benefits my physical and mental health. I love the effect a candle flame gives off in a room. I enjoy it when the packaging is extra decorative. The smell is the best part. I am partial to gourmand scents, really anything you could eat or drink. I absolutely do not do peppermint scents. That is my personal boundary line. It is far too pungent for me. Besides candles, I also buy wax melts and plug-ins. This will be a space with reviews, wishlists/shopping guides.
